Kansas City Broomball

This week we will be starting pickup games at Pepsi Ice Midwest. Specifically, we will be playing from 8pm - 9:30pm on Wednesday, May 23rd. The price is still going to be $10 per session. However, this time we'll be playing full ice! So bring yourself and your friends, I'd love to see a great turnout.

We will most likely still be playing at the AMF Ice Chateau each Sunday at 3:30pm until the rink closes. If you haven't heard, the AMF rink will be closing in June indefinitely.

Sorry for not updating this in so long ... here's the scoop for this next weekend.

We will be having a pickup game at the usual time and place. Both Bill and I are going to miss this weekend, and I'll probably miss the following one as well. That said, I encourage all of you to show up and bring your friends.

AMF Ice Chateau

A few months ago we sat down and had a discussion about scheduling Broomball pickup games at the Pepsi Ice Midwest rinks. Well, just yesterday Bill got an email from them saying that they would be forwarding their summer schedule to us so that we can find a spot to put it in. Nothing is final yet, but we're going to try and get a time that more people can show up for. I'll keep you posted.

Nick and I played in the Nationals tournament last month. It was a great trip overall, however I did get a blow to the knee that has kept me from playing for the last month and probably will for the next few weeks as well.

We also sent a couple players to the Des Moines tournament just a few weeks ago, which I hear went great as well.

I forgot my camera and therefore didn't get pictures of either of the tournaments, but if I find some I'll link them up here.
